Event Strategy

Marion County is home to Silver Springs, one of the world’s largest and most famous artesian springs, along with Rainbow Springs and Silver Glen. Our natural springs, lakes and rivers make Marion County a beautifully unique place to live, work and play. The Corporate Run will celebrate our springs, as well as, raise awareness about steps that individuals and businesses can take to protect our springs and water resources.

Beneficiaries of the event include the return of proceeds to citizens of Marion County to retrofit home water fixtures to higher efficiency fixtures; modify their community landscape to be Florida-friendly; or pay a portion of a septic tank inspection or pump out fee.

Spectator Tips

Spectators are welcome to cheer on participants as they make their way throughout the course. Cameras, encouraging signs, and waves are welcome.
