Amanda Esquivel was diagnosed with Lymphoma on July 14th 2014, three days after her 29th birthday. She is a loving wife as well as mother. She is a 9th grade science teacher at Forest High School in Ocala, Fl. She also coached the Varsity Competitive Cheerleading team.
This 5K is being put together by one of her fellow cheerleaders.Jessie believes greatly in giving back to her because of all she has done for her. She claims that Amanda is the strongest woman she knows. All the proceeds will be donated to the Esquivel family to help pay for medical bills during this tough time. All the support received is greatly appreciated.
“The strongest woman I know just got the scariest news of her life, but instead of seeing it as a defeat she sees it as a challenge.”
