We would like to first thank all of our pre-registered runners and sponsors for helping us put on the 38th Annual Ocala Reindeer Run presented by Gateway Bank. Below are some final instructions on what to expect leading up to race day.
Packet Pick Up: Packet pick up will be open 12/11/2015 from 9 am to 5 pm at Gateway Bank. Pre-registered runners will be able to pick up their race numbers and race bags.

Arrival: Plan on arriving between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm for day of race registration and packet pick up. Packet pickup and day of race registration will be closed at 4:15 to ensure we are able to start on time.
Parking: The bank has reserved the MTI Parking lot for Reindeer Run participant. As stated above, we recommend participants show up well in advance.
Course: The 3.1 mile course will be an out and back loop on Silver Springs Blvd. The race starts at Gateway Bank and runs East until runners reach the Burger King where they will make a u-turn and run on the West bound side of the road. Runners will run until they reach Regions Bank where they will make another u-turn and then run in the East bound lane to the finish.
Rudolph Dash: The Rudolph Dash is a .25 – .5 mile run meant for the younger kids. There is no cost for them to run in it. Special Rudolph Dash shirts will be available for purchase at packet pick up on Friday and at day race day registration table. Limited quantities will be available.
T-Shirts: Will be guaranteed to the first 500 pre-registered participants. We will not be responsible for any shirts that were not picked up on race day. If you are unable to to attend the event but still desire your shirt, please make arrangements to pick it up before the event.
Bibs: The bib number must be placed on the front of your clothing to ensure accurate timing. The race event staff can not be held responsible for anyone not placing the bib in the right location. The race will be chip timed, with the RFID chip placed on the back of the bib. Runners are encouraged to not alter the bib in any way.
Finishing: Once finished, please remove your bib if you plan on going back for friends. We don’t want to double count anyone.
Awards: Awards will take place immediately following the conclusion of the race. The awards ceremony will take place behind the bank and we hope to have them completed before the parade first passes the bank!
Beer Tent: We will have a complimentary cup of beer for legal aged participants (21+) at the conclusion of the race. We ask anyone participating in this to please have their ID’s handy when taking advantage of this perk.
