PlayON Sports and the NFHS Network will be providing live stream coverage of Friday’s 1A and 2A and Saturday’s 3A and 4A FHSAA State Track and Field Finals from Hodges Stadium on the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is the 4th year PlayOn Sports has provided live coverage of the FHSAA State Track and Field Finals.


Commentators Ricky Quintana and Darrin DeTorres will provide play-by-play action of the preliminaries and finals competition. New to this year’s coverage are after final race interviews.


Coverage begins on Friday with FHSAA Class 1A/2A Track and Field preliminaries beginning at 9am followed by the finals and award presentations at 4pm

About the Announcers

Ricky Quintana has been announcing and writing about running for more than 20 years. His credits include head announcer for FHSAA State Track and Field and Cross Country Finals, Tom Jones Memorial Classic, Jimmy Carnes Indoor Track and Field Meet, FSU Relays and several University of Florida home meets and assistant announcer for the  NCAA East Regional, ACC Indoor Championships, SEC Indoor Championships. In addition, he has written for Running Times, Track and Field News, Dyestat,,,, Men’s, Gainesville Sun, Tampa Tribune, Sun Sentinel, National Scholastic Athletics Foundation, Orlando Sentinel and the Miami Herald.


Darrin DeTorres has been announcing for more than three years. His credits include the FHSAA State Track and Field and Cross Country Finals, the NCAA East Regional. In addition, he has written for Dyestat FL,, and He is a USATF Level I Certified Coach and a volunteer coach for Vanguard High School in Ocala, FL.
